The English Riviera covers the three towns of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. It is one of the most popular resorts in the UK and attracts visitors of all ages and interests throughout the year.

There are 22 miles of coastline, cliffs, coves and beaches and walks for you to explore in a climate that is consistently much hotter than the rest of the UK. Along the 22 miles are 19 beaches. Some are open stretches of sand with beach facilities such as cafes, beach huts and watersports. Many more are smaller and more secluded. Several of Torbay's beaches hold coveted awards for cleanliness and water quality.

The steam railway is well worth a trip, where you can experience a steam train ride across viaducts and through wooded valleys, arriving in the picturesque town of Dartmouth with its quaint art galleries and famous castle. There is also Torre Abbey on the Torquay seafront, a historic house and garden that houses a museum and art gallery.
For those feeling more adventurous you’ll find Quaywest in the neighbouring town of Paignton - a waterpark with the renowned near-vertical ‘devils drop’ waterslide for those daring enough. Back in Torquay, why not visit Living Coasts where you can see the Penguin’s at play – both above and below water, or pay a visit to Babbacombe Model Village where you can experience Torbay in miniature.

The English Riviera is a place to relax, to soak up the atmosphere, to take in the scenery, the parks and the gardens and to enjoy the experience of a holiday in a classical English seaside resort, at all times of the year. Sporting opportunities abound and there is a complete range of apartments to suit every taste and budget. A rich variety of evening entertainment is provided throughout the Bay, all year round.
