The magnificent Royal Canadian Mounted Police are this year’s star attraction! Don’t miss them – they’re only appearing with us in Devon and at HM The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Pageant.
They are also delighted to welcome Adam Henson from BBC’s Countryfile. He’ll be at the County Show on Thursday when he’ll judge rare breed sheep.

Everyone's talking about BBC Radio 1's live event in Paignton on the Olympic Torch Relay weekend. A great line-up of artists and presenters will be in the Bay for a mini-festival broadcast live on Radio1 and online.

Dawlish Air Show

Dawlish

The 2012 Dawlish Air Show will take place on the 8th June providing a fitting end to the town’s jubilee celebrations. The annual air show has always been a hugely popular event with exciting performances that never fail to thrill the crowds.

Last year’s show saw performances from the Red Arrows, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (which included Lancasters, Spitfires and Hurricanes), the Breitling Wing Walkers, Royal Air Force Tornadoes and many many more.

Babbacombe Festival

The Babbacombe Festival is a celebration of all that is great about Babbacombe and St Marychurch, with something for everyone – locals and visitors alike.

Babbacombe and St Marychurch is home to lots of great groups and organisations who put on a number of events throughout the Festival from taster sessions and competitions to exhibitions and fairs at various venues around the area. There's art, crafts, music, food, dancing, all kinds of sports and a huge amount of money is raised for local charities.

Torbay Carnival Week

Torbay has a long history of organising a Carnival procession and it is a fond part of many people's childhood memories. But Torbay Carnival today is a lot more than just a Carnival procession - although they continue to be proud of it's ongoing popularity and the enjoyment for everyone who takes part - Carnival is now a 9 day event offering entertainment from 10am and most evenings for over a week each year.

The 2012 procession will be held on Wednesday 25th July in Paignton.

Torbay Week

A hugely popular regatta in which spectators can enjoy the spectacle of local, national and international sailing competitors testing their wits against each other and the power of the sea. The bay provides many vantage points and the local yacht and sailing clubs host post-race entertainment throughout the week. The challenges end with the traditional Passage Race to Dartmouth, ready for the Dartmouth Regatta the following week.
